An odd thing occurred with this campaign.
At the time we conceived it, I remarked
to the client that the chances of selecting the
winning 6-digit number from a field of
50 numbers were about 14 million to 1.
"Hush, up...you're just an ad guy."
The game debuted in Idaho, Montana,
and South Dakota in February 1996.
The combined population of those
three states is only about 2.5 million.
